Our Afterschool Adventure is a safe, fun environment where your child could grow and develop through programs such as recreation, arts & crafts, workshops, nature, and adventure.
We offer a state-licensed program that is Keystone Stars accredited, meaning our childcare instructors exceed state health and safety licensing requirements.
Located at the Mahanoy City Elementary School, our program focuses on basic core principles all designed to build strong, confident, fully-rounded youth. We help children develop to their fullest potential by focusing on self-awareness and confidence-building; and support and strengthen families by improving communication skills with each other and other families.
At the Y, we deliver our afterschool care in a positive YMCA environment, making sure all children are safe and happy, and have the opportunity to engage in activities that are challenging and promote a sense of group unity as well as personal belonging.
