Financial Assistance
The Schuylkill YMCA will not deny participation to any of our activities due to an individual's lack of funds.
Participants are expected to pay their fair share of costs.
Funds for financial assistance have been made available through the generous contributions from citizens and businesses of the Schuylkill County communities and from support from the Schuylkill United Way.
Any resident of the Schuylkill YMCA service area desiring to participate in the YMCA may apply.
Financial assistance will be granted on the basis of needs as demonstrated by household income or extenuating circumstances.
Applications for financial assistance are available at the YMCA office.

The Schuylkill YMCA recently welcomed the addition of Rosemarie Seamon to its staff as community engagement director.
Rose brings over 20 years of experience in public relations to the Y, focusing on non-profits for the majority of that time. She will be actively promoting the Schuylkill Y as it prepares to begin its journey back to Schuylkill County at the former Pottsville Armory building on Centre Street, and additional satellite branches in Tremont, Frackville, and Shenandoah.
"This is an exciting, significant time for the Y with so many locations getting ready to open," said YMCA Executive Director Wayne Stump. "We're making history by reflecting our history in Pottsville, and Rose will be instrumental in helping us once again be a part of the Schuylkill County community."
Rose began her journey with the Y on March 10 after serving four years with the Schuylkill United Way as the community relations director. She invites Schuylkill County to Keep Your Eye on the Y!
